MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1960 film?

A group of scientists under the supervision of Professor Sewell, conduct an investigation in order to develop a formula that will in addition allow pest control typhus and bubonic plague. Since the compound includes the use of a particularly virulent germ that could be used by an enemy power as bacteriological weapon, Defense Minister Professor Sewell strictly prohibited publish their findings. Although Sewell abide the election, one of his assistants, the young Bob Marriott is carried away by their passions and his frustrated love Lucy, but unlike single colleague still involved with her former fiance, Korean veteran Alan Andrews , bitter because of the loss of his arms in the war. Andrews learns Marriott's indignation, and deftly probes, by contact with the strange Mr. Brown, who manipulates him to get the formula in the name of sinister powers. A remake called Sospechoso (1987) was made based on this movie.
