MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1946 film?

Slip is fired from a construction company. His sister, who also had gotten the job, is angry with him. Slip manages to so getting a new job in the DA's office, and there he finds that his sister is at risk in the company.
