MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1946 film?

An eccentric millionaire and generally has two daughters who are involved in rather shady affairs. For this reason, calls the private detective Philip Marlowe, to help you solve your family problems. Marlowe begins to investigate, but finds that each of the problems is branched, and the case becomes a real knot. A remake called Detective privado (1978) was made based on this movie.
