MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1946 film?

London, 1761. Although the Bedlam is a sinister and forsaken of God, has become a place of pilgrimage for London's upper class, having fun watching the sick dread held there. Nell Bowen, horrified to see the treatment of patients, will do everything possible to improve the conditions of the center. But the director of the asylum, the sinister and disturbing Simas, ensuring that attempt to silence it is of unsound mind.
