MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2000 film?
An amateur theater group must deal with the changes caused by economic and cultural reforms introduced in China during the late eighties. The new model will lead to the privatization of the company and its conversion into a strange Disco- Rock band. Two teenage couples are part of the troupe frustrated. Unable to communicate emotionally, try to articulate an uncertain life, caught between the promises of economic modernization and the weight of tradition and ideology.
