MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1979 film?

In early 1942, as the Allies prepare to some extent the Normandy landings, thousands of American soldiers are sent to England. In the lives of three of them play an important role three women: Helen, a mother of traditional mindset that even works as a Red Cross volunteer, Mollie, bus driver and also a great admirer of Americans, and Jen, the daughter of head of the local shopkeepers, a teenager from fragile sensitivity soldier who is in love Matt.
