MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1982 film?

Paris, thirties. After the failure of an audition at a nightclub, Victoria Grant hungry and desolate walk through the streets of the city. Beset by hunger, decide to use a ploy to enjoy a delicious meal without having to pay. At the restaurant, she meets Toddy, a gay man who not only provides entertainment, but has the bright idea of turning it into Victor, a transvestite whose success will be immediate and dramatic. But the situation is complicated when Victoria King Marchan, the owner of a chain of nightclubs in Chicago, is irresistibly attracted to Victor.
