MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1997 film?

Following eight years in jail for killing his wife, whom he found in bed with another man, Takuro Yamashita out on parole. When I was in prison catch an eel, who becomes his only companion pet. Yamashita etablece in a small town on the outskirts of Tokyo and runs a barbershop, chaired by an aquarium in which all his eels. One day he meets Keiko Hattori, a teenager who attempts suicide and reminds him of his wife. Gradually get to know and eventually falling in love. When life begins to smile at him, he meets a former comrade in prison. Yamashita understand that all struggle to become a man again might crumble if his past is revealed. Above all, taking into account the interest of the eccentric residents of the small town, to learn more of the new barber.
