MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1987 film?

The passage of time has established a sincere friendship between the old Sarah Webbber and Libby Strong, over his sisters condition. A Maine island is the site where you have gathered every summer for over sixty years. Both are widows, however do not forget the days when they were teenagers and ran down the beach to see emerge from the sea to the huge whales. So were full of illusions. Now older, remained united by a double and mutual dependence. However, Libby suffering blindness makes it increasingly unfriendly and irascible ; Sarah, however, retained an imperturbable serenity. Mr. Maranov, a gentleman of Russian origin, and the worker Joshua Brackett, constiuyen male counterpoint to a world of memories and recollections of adolescence.
