MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1939 film?

Based on a novel by Edith Wharton. During the American Civil War, Delia and Charlotte, two cousins southern, feel very excited the wedding day of the first with a very important man. But suddenly, there is an old boyfriend of Delia, a parasite that is intended to prevent the wedding. Charlotte, who has always been in love with him, manages to entertain and the wedding is held. After spending the day together, he promises that he will get married when I get back from the war, however killed in battle and then suddenly she is unmarried and expecting a child. His life thereafter will not be easy.
