MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1997 film?

Jim Douglas is a young racing driver that things have not been going very well. In the shop of Mr. Thorndyke, meets Herbie, a curious Volkswagen seems to come alive as it acts and moves on its own. Herbie follows him to his house and make friends. Jim then given some minor tweaks to the car so you can participate in major competitions. The blending of the two is total, and begin to compete in the first races. This film is a remake of Ahí va ese bólido (1968), the remakes are new versions of the same story.
