MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1944 film?

This last tape Duvivier was shot in the United States during World War II. Clement is a condemned man who gains his freedom when the Germans bombarded the French prison where he is being held. In their flight, steals a soldier's uniform and adopts lifeless identity. He thus presents an opportunity to achieve redemption, a chance to join the French Resistance and fight the Nazis.
