MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1989 film?

Dr. Weitzman works in a mental hospital in New Jersey, being of the opinion that also should leave the psychiatric sick occasionally. Weitzman convinces the manager that some patients might attend on his responsibility as a therapist, to see baseball game in New York. To this end, Dr. Once on the street all goes well, however on the other hand, the Doctor has a little accident and has to be taken to hospital, leaving alone the sick, for the city. A remake called The Dream Team (2012) was made based on this movie.
