MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1983 film?

Set in the mid- eighties, during the Cold War, tells the devastating effects of a nuclear holocaust in the lives of the residents of the small American town of Lawrence, Kansas. Its residents were normal life, many of them unrelated to the growing tension between the Soviet Union and the United States, along with the rest of the NATO countries by conflict in Berlin. But when war breaks out, the approach of Lawrence at a U.S. nuclear missile base will sign the death sentence to most of its inhabitants.
