MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1955 film?

Charles Castle, a Hollywood actor very demanding of himself, is not satisfied of his last performances. So when a producer makes a tempting offer he considered damaged reputation, rejects. But producer blackmails him, threatening to reveal his past deeds more tarnish its reputation as the paper has offered.
