MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2012 film?

The teenager Ben Barrett has been arrested once again and also his mom sacrificed already more than well enough of his antics. The boy has to choose between the juvenile center or spend the summer at the farm of his grumpy grandfather Jack. As arrives at the farm, Ben is already planning the escape, so his grandfather decides to go to the pound and pick a buddy for him thus: Smitty, a charming mutt abandoned. But the relationship between Ben and Smitty is far from friendship at first sight ... The boy can not bear to watch the dog at all times. Finally, Ben Smitty eventually teaching what is meant by the values of friendship, family and responsibility. From now on when things get tough, Ben knows that you can always count on a friend's leg.
