MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1985 film?

Edgar Allen, a young writer, he moved to Hollywood in order to succeed as a screenwriter. On arrival at the bus station, is assaulted by a transvestite who steals all his money, but helps a human being killing the aggressor. When the police arrived they flee together, and the man offers a job as a janitor of his apartment building. In this space, the writer knows the strange tenants: A failed actress, a hippie who believes reincarnation of Christ, a decadent rock star, without agent representation and an aspiring young actress. When his work as a goalkeeper allows sets to work on his script, making stars of his argument to the building's tenants, who are dying in their history. The script disappears in a neighborhood feud and the inhabitants of the building begin to die as Edgar had imagined and described on paper.
