MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1981 film?

Only 237 people worldwide are " scanners", human beings with some extraordinary mental powers. Darryl Revok, the most powerful, is the head of the whole. They are able to control the minds of others and they can cause terrible suffering to their victims. When Dr. Paul Ruth finds a scanner with more powers than even Revok, decides to use this way to end the group.
