MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2001 film?

Luxurious and well detailed reconstruction of the Germany of the late '20s and early '30s in which he also narrates the adventures, based on true events, the brothers Franz and Erich Sass two white collar crooks who achieved a spectacular popularity among his countrymen. They regarded them as a kind of Robin Hood in times of economic hardship. Encouraged by the success of his first hits, Sass increasingly abusing their fate over to the point of planning to steal 15 million marks to the Nazis and retire in the United States. And that was the beginning of the end, because the police, on the one hand, and the followers of Hitler, on the other, they were not willing to let them get away with it.
