MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1989 film?

Lisbon, 1989: A middle-aged poor devil lives in a room in a cheap boarding house and family in the old city. Tormented by illness and vicissitudes of a different order, the idiot, which also feeds on Schubert and perhaps a vague cinephilia as a form of resistance to the misery, is put out on the street after an unsuccessful attempt to attack the under the daughter of the landlady.
