MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1981 film?

Texas, 1944. Nita Longley, a telephonist divorced, he moved to the town for work reasons, a job that forces you to do day shifts and night. His boss, Mr. Rigby, who had assured they would soon get a more lucrative, does not fulfill its promise. Nita's situation is quite uncomfortable, he lives with his two sons in the office where he works. Moreover, marital status, makes the town's residents, particularly men, look with contempt or as a lady easy.
