MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2000 film?

As you build a dam in Tecala, in the Andes, American engineer Peter Bowman is captured by government forces during a raid in the South American capital. When the rebels discovered his identity require $ 3 million to return safely. Abandoned by the company, Peter's wife, Alice, hire the services of professional hostage negotiator Therry Thorne.
