MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1955 film?

During the Nazi occupation of Poland, a whole generation of young people had to grow up in a rush because of the adversity. Stach is a wayward teen who lives on the outskirts of Nazi-occupied Warsaw. Guided by small acts of defiance and communist fervor, goes into the resistance movement, where she meets the brave and beautiful Dorota. He is soon involved in a risky fight against oppression and the quest for dignity, maturing as he assumes responsibility for the lives of his friends and colleagues.
