MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1981 film?

The South is far when it is as Serge, a professor at a university in Paris. The South, when one wants to leave everything as Carol, do not really know where it is. Why Serge follows in the footsteps of Carol ? What force leads him to follow her, when they have nothing in common?. A remake called Plein sud (2009) was made based on this movie.
