MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1997 film?

Toshiaki, a microbiologist, aims to cultivate the cells of his dead wife, Kiyomi, despite a mitochondrial mutation causes a negative result: Mitochondrial Eve, or an amalgam of countless mitochondria that take the form of an innocent woman who is capable of the most provided perverse acts dominate man. Adapted from the acclaimed novel by Hideaki Sena, which also generated a saga video game created by Squaresoft.
