MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1958 film?

Familie Petermann beschließt einen Familienurlaub in den sonnigen Süden. Die Petermanns, das sind der Großvater, Vater Max, Mutter Biggi, die Kinder Stupsi, Sohn Andy und die hübsche Monika, Schwester von Max Petermann. Dazu mietet man sich einen flotten Schlitten, denn Max Petermann hat gerade seinen Führerschein gemacht. Nicht nur, dass es wegen mangelnder Fahrpraxis diverse Startschwierigkeiten gibt, mit dem Wagen hat es außerdem eine besondere Bewandtnis: Tief in den Polstern versteckt sind geheime Dokumente, die ein Gangstertrio ins Ausland schmuggeln will. Infolge eines verwechselten Nummernschildes kommt es zu einigen Turbulenzen. Willi Polz wird von dem Trio damit beauftragt, die Petermanns im Auge zu behalten, um bei passender Gelegenheit die Papiere sicherzustellen. Natürlich kommt auf der Reise nach Bella Italia immer etwas dazwischen. Dass sich Willi in die blonde Monika verliebt, überrascht dabei am wenigsten. Doch des Großvaters Aktionen sind die wirkliche Sensation.
