MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2010 film?

Jan Kaplický was not only one of the most important architects coming out of the Czech Republic, but was also a visionary in relation to the ideas he had for his country. These ideas were those that placed him at the center of a public battle around his most personal and controversial project: the new National Library in Prague, christened with the name of "The Eye of Prague". In it, Kaplický tried to translate all its originality, talent and avant-garde in a work that was clearly ahead of its time, which led him to engage in a long conflict with various sectors of the Czech. Filmed over three years, this documentary follows the professional and personal life of one of the men who defined the way it is today one of the most captivating cities in the world, defending his ideas and philosophy to its unpredictable and sad end.
