MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1978 film?

The church, throughout history, has always faced the cinema as one of its main censors. "New World" challenges the myth Guadalupe to present how to subdue the Indians, a Jesuit priest invents the presence of a Virgin asking reconciliation between conquerors and conquered. Retes presents in this film an allegory of the method used by the Spanish to impose their religion and thereby assume a complete political power over the Indians. Produced in 1976, "New World" was boycotted in their exhibition by controversial topic referenced.
