MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1949 film?

Set in postwar Japan after World War II. With the structure of the conventional thriller and Japanese American, tells the story of a young detective who steal his gun. Overwhelmed by a sense of loss rather than dishonor, undertaken with a fellow veteran, a frantic and tireless quest that takes him to the underworld of Tokyo.
