MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2003 film?

Leidenschaft, Schuld, Liebe und Tod im Karneval: In der Flut trunkener Narren verliert Roman den Halt und seinen Glauben an die große Liebe. Surreal und absurd wirken auf Roman die Szenen im Karneval. Narren tauchen hinter Straßenecken auf, kommen schwankend, bedrohlich näher. In ihrem Verhalten sind sie ihm fremd und unberechenbar. Der Karnevalsprinz steht am Rheinufer und redet von Tinnitus und Termindruck. Sein Chef zwingt ihn zum Du und nennt sich Gerhard. Hinterlassenschaften in der Kloschüssel sind versteckte Botschaften. Die tote Oma darf sich mit umgehängtem Eisbärenfell doch noch den Umzug anschauen. In dieser fremdartigen Welt droht Roman, dem Wahnsinn zu verfallen. Seine Wahrnehmung beginnt, sich zu verzerren: Alptraum und Wirklichkeit werden für ihn ununterscheidbar. Ein surreales, kafkaeskes Psychodrama vor dem Hintergrund des Ausnahmezustandes Karneval. Ein Film in der Tradition großer surrealistischer Meisterwerke.
