MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1961 film?

During the Civil War in a POW camp, a group of Southerners prisoners managed to flee aboard a balloon. Aimlessly and amidst a great storm, reach an unknown island. Your first step is to survive and explore the island, to see if there is any kind of life, adaptation of the popular novel by Jules Verne. With special by the legendary Ray Harryhausen effects. A remake called La isla misteriosa de Julio Verne (2010) was made based on this movie.
