MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2008 film?

The life of Francis, a famous retired magician, is an unstoppable descent into hell. To forget drowns his sorrows in alcohol and barely make ends meet in a nightclub cleaning. It has a 10 year old son, whom he adores, but the guilt and continuous inebriation have made him a father disastrous. The child has learned to hide his affection for his father and overcome her chaotic life. Alone and emotionally shattered, Francis hopes to redeem himself and win back the love and respect of his son, so he decides to resume his career as a magician and fakir. Eric Khoo is a key figure in the revival Singapore international film, although the criticism does not quite know how to classify it. In part because Singapore is a place of odd between cultures, ideologies and geographies, and Khoo's latest work perfectly reflects these ambiguities. According to the director, to write the screenplay was inspired by " The Road", the apocalyptic novel by Cormac McCarthy, and the special relationship it established father and son.
