MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1986 film?

The action takes place in a huge room Argentina and starts in the summer of 1938. It is the story of a family, symbol of the oligarchy, which for more than 50 years, managed the country as his own stay. Its members, unrealistic approaching, deaf to the rumors of a world that is changing their structures, and indifferent to anything other than themselves and the way some of the characters in Chekhov, dream a dream to awaken abruptly with the arrival of Juan Domingo Peron in 1945. All these circumstances, elapsed between 1938 and 1945, are remembered by a singular woman, the English governess Miss Mary, character played by Julie Christie.
