MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1997 film?

The film tells the story of a filmmaker, Miramar. As the metaphor of the name suggests, the endless sea, enigmatic mutant in his swing, is an expression of life. This explains why the action is always the sea as backdrop: the marine cemetery of São João, hotel rooms and terraces, beaches, streets and bars of the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro. Training and emotional and intellectual education of a young woman preparing for life and especially for the artistic life has been a recurring theme from various literatures from antiquity. Miramar shows images of the formation of a teenager as a unique moment. The main figure is a teenage orphan who transforms his existence, is, experiment. How to properly prepare for the artistic experience ? What will a future filmmaker ? Where do you Miramar path ? These are a few of the questions the film.
