MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2008 film?

Harvey Milk, the first openly gay politician elected to public office in the United States, was killed a year later. At forty years old, tired of running from himself, Milk decides to come out and go live in California with Scott Smith. Once there, open a business that quickly became a meeting point for homosexuals in the neighborhood. Milk becomes their spokesman and to defend their rights, do not hesitate to deal with employers, trade unions and politicians. His bravery encouraged others to follow in their footsteps. But in his private life, has a destructive affair with Jack Lira, a young unstable that clings to him to survive.
