MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2006 film?

Despite warnings from scientists Nathan, his boss continues an experiment aimed at advertising your company via satellite: exploding an asteroid. It is divided, and the main piece, the size of Iceland, changes course to earth. Is deflected but so close that changes our course closer to the sun, and that causes extra heating fast. Nathan warns his sister, TV journalist Carly, and she to her lover, police detective Tom. He brings his unruly daughter Kim, her ex -con lover CJ and her mother, nurse Bonnie. Tom is responsible for a dangerous journey to the airport, as everywhere on earth things catch fire and people fight for plunder and transport water. This film is a remake of Meltdown (2004), the remakes are new versions of the same story.
