MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1942 film?

Orphan parents, the Marquesa Marina di Malombra is welcomed by his uncle, the rigorous Conce Cesare d ? ? Ormengo, who moved to his palazzo, with the only condition that comes out of there once married. The site is a huge mansion located on Lake Como, in which its thick curtains suggest the dusty scent of a past that, contrary to what would be expected, convey an air of decadence and unpardonable some sinister scope. The latter will be the hint that intuit Marina and her young valet, when intended for a habitat that cause fear among the service itself. Will all this the beginning of the transformation for the young aristocrat, will encounter a few letters and objects that join a relative of the family's past, which will become involuntary executing a vengeance. From that moment, the reality and the obsession will alter in the life of the protagonist, who completely change their character, becoming taciturn even with veteran aristocrat who until then was afraid for her, and you want to find a good match for their future. The situation will change its face with the arrival at the mansion frustrated and sensitive writer who is Corrado Chair in Marine who see the object of revenge that seems destined to meet, while at the same time both feel in itself an immediate attraction. Among them opposed establish a relationship of closeness and rejection, which will have an important element of a suitor arrival of some noble family, who wants to marry the young aristocrat.
