MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1973 film?

In 1864, before the age of twenty years of Wittelsbach Ludwig became king of Bavaria. The boy king was generous and romantic and dreamed of bringing happiness to his people. It was a great patron of art lovers, peace and universal harmony. However, by relying on its directors, Bavaria took a disastrous war that would leave the Bismarck. Even his most faithful collaborators conspired against him, betrayed him even his main protege, Richard Wagner. Only her cousin Elizabeth, the wife of the Emperor of Austria, I felt for him an almost maternal affection, was unconditionally loyal.
