MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2000 film?

Avery had it all: a beautiful wife, a son, and a grant in order to return to college. However, in the blink of an eye everything vanishes. What also begins as a night out with friends ends with the death of a cop and Avery behind bars.
