MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2002 film?

After spending 15 years in prison for conviction of crime, Stephen began working at a local Mississippi meals under the watchful eye of the owner and the southern Vic Horace. Aloof and distant, Stephen rarely shows his feelings or discusses his past, except for a series of unpublished books being written. Meanwhile Mary, a housewife pregnant, tragically just lost her husband and daughter in a car accident that caused a premature birth caused by shock. Filled with grief and guilt, Mary gives the name to his son Leopold Bloom, Ulysses by Joyce, in memory of her left college to be a mom, and with the firm intention not to educate make the same mistakes as her mother. A remake called Leo (2007) was made based on this movie.
