MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1962 film?

After an apocalyptic nuclear war, the world has been devastated. A team of scientists from the winning side concludes that the only way to rescue humanity is resorting to travel through time: either send a person to the past for help, or to the future to find a solution to the present situation. The man chosen to make the trip through time is a prisoner. History of experimental cut on the power of memory, told exclusively through still photos, in which a man is reconstrescapar the memory of his beloved, in times of World War III. A unique science fiction film French, who inspired the popular American movie " 12 Monkeys ".
