MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1981 film?

Marie, the daughter of a businessman characterized by its tremendous bad luck, is kidnapped while vacationing in Mexico. Bell's father hires a private detective to travel to Mexico and find. After forty- two days without news of the girl, the company psychologist suggests that only by someone with the same bad luck that Marie, achieve trace their whereabouts. The choice is François Perrin, a humble accountant in payroll, noted for his bad luck. Ten years later, Hollywood would make a remake called " Pure Luck " with Danny Glover and Martin Short.
