MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1989 film?

The Los Angeles detective Vincent Hanna is on the trail of a gang of criminals extremely ruthless. But the more advances in research, the more you realize the things you have in common with their leader. Six years later this telefilm, initially intended as a pilot for a series that was never created, Michael Mann made a new film version with a lot more budget: cinematográgica piece called " Heat".
