MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1981 film?

First of the 3 films recopilatorias of Mobile Suit Gundam. The year is Universal Century 0079. Amuro Ray is involved in a war between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon. Without being very biased him, becomes a prototype pilot called Mobile Suit Gundam. Now he and the crew of White Base must fight for their lives while the enemy tries to destroy this new weapon regardless. Each fighter will face the feelings of euphoria and despair as they continue fighting for road space that leads, as a last destination, Earth. This film is a prequel of Kidô senshi Gandamu: Dai 08 MS shôtai - Mirâzu ripôto (1998).
