MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1939 film?

The Emperor Maximilian arrived in Mexico to establish an imperial government and encounter the opposition, first hidden and then open, Benito Juarez. Maximiliano is an idealist who has fallen victim to the cunning of Napoleon III. The emperor really believes in the advantages of monarchy, while Juarez fight passionately for the republic. When France withdrew its support, the Empress Carlota traveled to implore your help to Napoleon III.
