MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2006 film?

Vietnam, 1975. Nguyen's family, like many others, suffers the consequences of including ideological cleansing imposed by the new communist government. Following the withdrawal of American troops, Saigon is plunged into chaos. Long, the father, is imprisoned in a reeducation camp, where, in addition to being sentenced to forced labor, suffering beatings, hunger and isolation. The rest of the family, after many difficulties, managed to escape the country by boat refugee and came to the United States, where it is proposed to start a free and dignified life.
