MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1997 film?

Billy McGregor is 12 and lives on a farm in a remote part of Australia, with his loving mother and surrounded by numerous animals, among them a young kangaroo named Joey. But when some hunters kidnap Joey's parents, Billy knows he must do everything possible to Joey again reunited with his family. When boarding a train to the big city, the two friends embark on a fantastic adventure and full of emotions, where they make fun new friends. Upon discovering that the lives of Joey's parents are in danger devise a daring plan to rescue them,with the support and encouragement of the entire nation ! This film is a remake of El secreto de Joey (1985), the remakes are new versions of the same story.
