MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2005 film?

If an alien invasion take place on earth, ordinary people would live as shown in this piece cinematográgica. On prom night in the small Californian town of Lawton, a meteor shower disrupts the general peace. The officer Brick Bardo is sent to inspect the area of the collision of stellar bodies, alerted by Jenkins, a villager who has witnessed the event. Upon arrival, the officer quickly detects that something is not right, Jenkins awkwardly wanders without direction, walking as driven by electric shock and dropping grunts and gurgles. With a rapid movement, suddenly, it is launched on Bardo and loose over his face a dirty blackish substance. The officer quickly undergoes a metamorphosis which makes it, in turn, another detestable creature driven by anger. Since then the horror will cascade spreading throughout the town and only a few survive the savage attacks. But these are becoming less and are increasingly surrounded. A remake called Infection (2010) was made based on this movie.
