MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1957 film?

After being abandoned by Irma, Aldo leave work and go on a long trip through northern Italy. In his pilgrimage known women who share with him a feeling of restlessness and marginalization: Elvia, a revived last friend, and she Virginia, serving a gas station and lives with his elderly father in an oppressive solitude ; Andreina, a prostitute who holds naively hoping to find a place in the world to start a new life. With each, Aldo tries to establish a relationship.
