MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1948 film?

WWII. Dr. Lee Johnson enlists in the Army Medical Corps, moved more by a sense of duty than by a sense of patriotism. The first day, he meets an attractive nurse with whom, at first, does not get along, however with just having an affair. But Lee feels guilty for betraying his wife, who lives waiting for his return. A remake called Regreso inesperado (2009) was made based on this movie.
